March 2017 Reverse Confetti Sketch For You To Try!
Sweet Birthday Cake!

Did you notice? It's a new month! I know! This year is flying right? I'm usually happy to put winter behind me about now, but things have been going so fast for me this year! Seems like so much to do and never enough time to do it. I always thought time would go slower as I got older! LOL! Maybe it's just me that's getting slower!!!

A new challenge begins today at Reverse Confetti!  Here's the March Sketch For You To Try #SFYTT!!   We hope you'll join us for a chance to win!  You might just win a gift certificate for $20 from the store!  Who wouldn't like that?    You can get all the details on the Reverse Confetti Blog.  You can always find the challenge easy by clicking on the challenge badge in the right hand column.

I thought this was a fun sketch!  I loved the 5 stripes along the left margin of the sketch and thought it would be fun to turn them into word dies.  I chose the word "sweet" from Lovey Words Confetti Cuts set.  I cut each one three times and adhered them together so they are thick like a piece of chip board.
The birthday cake is from Candles 'n Confetti Stamp Set.  There are lots of ways you can personalize the cakes in this set with different decorations in different colors.

I put a circle die cut from Detailed Circles behind the cake to make it stand out more from the yellow pattern paper background.  The cake is stamped on white and die cut adhered to this pierced circle.

Ok now it's your turn!  Need a little more inspiration?  You'll find inspiration from the design team through out the month on the blog!   Click here to head on over now and get all the details!

I love your card, it is so bright and cheerful and such a great use of the elements. I have realised as I snooped through your blog today that you are the Mistress of bright and cheery, I bet you are a lot of fun! Clairex
