My bestie, Cathy Weber (aka Empty Nest Crafter blog) recently organized a Secret Santa over in the Waltzingmouse Forum. If you participated you were given a name of a person who you were to mail a hand made Christmas card to. In return you would receive a card from another participant. Today all the cards that were made are being featured over on the Waltzingmouse blog.
I'm going to start off by showing you the sweet card I received from my Secret Santa Super Jen Treadway! Isn't that snowman with the banner the sweetest ever? There are lots of layers on this card with lots of rich embossing. The striped paper in the background even has glitter! I was so surprised to receive this card because I assumed that the person I sent my card to would be the same person I would receive one from! Thank you so much Jen for absolutely making my day - and my holiday even brighter! I get to smile at this little guy for as long as I want now! This is the card I made and sent to Charmaine Stack (Tweedcurtain Productions)
I hope Cathy continues this tradition at Waltzingmouse. I know it is a lot of work for her matching people together. I feel so honored to have met so many creative people there and receiving a hand made card from one of them is a real treat!
