Waltzingmouse March Blog Party - Go Green!!!!

Welcome to the March Waltzingmouse Blog Party.  Every 17th Waltzingmouse Stamps sponsors a blog party with a different theme.  This month we are celebrating St. Patrick's Day/Irish/Green.  What else right?  I am not Irish, but I will use any excuse to celebrate.  St. Patrick's Day is no exception - you can count me in for corned beef and cabbage and don't forget the green beer - well beer in green bottles ok?  Besides the good food I got to thinking of all the different Irish sayings and prayers I've heard over the years.   So with tongue in cheek  I decided to come up with my own blessing/prayer just for us stampers.  I hope it makes you smile!!
I stamped the background paper by using the X pattern from Oval Classic Frames, and made the clover with the small heart from Sweethearts.  To line everything up nice and even I drew lines with pencil, matched these marks with the lines on my acrylic block, stamped and then erased the pencil.  Here's a photo with a sample of my plan.

I used a emerald grosgrain ribbon and topped that with a bit of gold ribbon (think pot of gold)  and topped it off with a little shamrock charm.

I hope it tickles (as Claire would say!)  Thanks for having a peek and keep on dancing!

Jeanne

BEST CARD...ever! I love it, your little "crafter's blessing" is so creative, love that idea. No pre-made stamp could say it better. Claire should make a stamp that says this! Your card is gorgeous, love the way you stamped the pattern and as always, the gorgeous bow really finishes the card. Very, very good card Jeanne. I loved it!
